All about engine; you did search what is a transfer case The car which is given same strenght in a four wheels. His called Auxiliary gearbox. His also says four wheel drive as like 4×4 . The engine  strenght are given In the two back wheels In ordinary vehicle, The front exle that remains head excel onlly. But the four wheel drive gearbox that gives equel  strenght between four wheels. The comes much more discrepancy In the ordinary Gearbox vehicle for revolving In the mountain or forest. ( And the transfer case Is put behind of gearbox Or in the casing for giving same power in between four wheels.) And in this time the main shaft does work of input shaft. Being connected to the output shaft with the input shaft. The power of the output shaft Give into the rear wheel. And stays adler shaft In the corner of the Input shaft For the strainght should be shared for front wheel At the time when Need Torque in the front wheel And the step down gear that Stays connected with the main shaft or input shaft.  and stayS A second front axle engagement gear in the adler shaft.and remains front axle drive shaft in the corner of the adler shaft and stays front axle engagement gear on it....,
